| How to install VCMI and mods using VCMI Launcher | |
Horn of the Abyss Factory port for VCMI. The mod is still under development, not all heroes are available, special abilities such as detonation or invulnerability do not work yet and you can build both level 7 creature dwellings in the town, but they share weekly growth. Now everything is pretty playable, the full version will be amazing!
How to install Factory town for VCMI:
- Visit the GitHub page and click on “< >Code” at the top right and select “Download ZIP” from the menu.
- Download the archive and save it to your computer.
- Unzip the archive. Open the folder “horn-of-the-abyss-hota-1.7″ and copy ONLY the “hota” archive to VCMI Mods folder (overwrite the files if necessary).
- By default the mods folder is here: Documents\My Games\vcmi\Mods
- Run the VCMI Launcher and enable the “Horn of the Abyss” mod
- Do not update the mod! Otherwise you will lose the Factory town.
- If you start the game now, the Factory town will be available.
