Heroes 5.5:Frax v4 improves visuals, reworks artifacts, simplifies Ultimates, supercharges Arena and includes a selection of community made maps.
Heroes 5.5: Frax installation:
- Install HoMM 5.5 (tested with Rc19h)
- Move “data” and “UserMODs” folders into your ToE directory
- Remove /data/index.bin if it exists
- In “data” folder, choose one translation file (EN | PL | RU) and delete the rest
- The translation file must match your H55 language!
- Optional: Install RESHADE to significantly improve visuals (increases GPU load)
– Make a backup of your ToTe/bin (in case something goes wrong)
– Follow RESHADE/Install_Steps.txt guide
– You can turn it off and on in game with CTRL+F11
You can switch to MMH55 at any time, just by renaming the FRAX.pak to FRAX.zip
