HoMM 3: The Board Game – work on the Stronghold and Conflux expansions is still ongoing!

A lot of people have received their pledges, we’re very happy that you enjoy the game. We’d also like to invite everyone to the “Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Board GameFacebook group.

Shipping Update

Wave 1 EU/ROTW is a little over halfway done – the rest of the pledges should be shipped by the end of the month. Please note that the email from Green Logistics is only an address confirmation. Confirming your address or ignoring it will not affect the date on which your pledge will be shipped, your pledge will still be sent 1-2 weeks from receiving the email.

Once your pledge has been sent, your status on Gamefound will update to “Shipped” and you will be able to see the tracking number in the “Notes” section. If you’re not sure which company was used to ship your pledge, please use one of the many parcel tracking aggregate websites on the internet.

Please note that if you chose a non-standard combination of addons and pledges, your pledge will be sent towards the end of Wave 1 shipping (For example, an Azure Pledge + Rampart Expansion). These pledges require custom packaging to be sent and will be shipped by Green Logistics, regardless of where you’re from.

Israel Shipping

Shipping to Israel is temporarily halted due to the conflict in Gaza. We’re hoping that we can start shipping these pledges soon, but I’m afraid there isn’t much we can do about it at the moment. We will include information in our next update if we’re able to start shipping or if the packages will remain at the warehouse.

UK Shipping

We would like to remind UK backers that if your pledge exceeds 135 GBP, the VAT for your pledge will be refunded and you will instead have to pay it to the delivery company (FedEx). Please note that delivery companies like to charge an extra 5-10 Pounds as a “handling fee” if they pay the VAT in your name. This is part of the new regulations for Brexit, and I’m afraid there’s nothing we can do about it.

Wave 2

Manufacturing for Wave 2 is still ongoing, and the games should hopefully be ready to ship to us soon. We will provide more information in a future update. We would also like to reiterate – games will be delivered to backers first, before anything makes its way to retail. Currently, only the base game is available only for pre-orders but it will not be released until all backers have received their games.

Righteous Ratings

We want to thank everyone for supporting the project and liking the game we’ve created so much – the game recently reached a rating of 8.1 on BoardGameGeek. If you’ve received it and played through it a couple of times, we encourage you to come and leave a rating!

A Terrifying Storm

Work on the Stronghold and Conflux expansions is still ongoing! Here’s some of the new art we have ready:

We also have another expansion in the works, but I’ve been told to keep quiet about it, or the captain will have my tongue…

The Map Editor

We would like to remind everyone that we have a Map Editor forum on our Discord – this is where fans of the game create custom content that they want to share with everyone else. We already have several fan-made creations, including various maps and a digital editor for creating maps!

Thank you for reading!

So the Phoenix is the next victim with his wings in front like the black dragon,, the pegasus,, the … all winged units. unnatural pose makes the models ugly. i would like to cut pegasus wings out and glue it opposite side so they go back instead front.

I’m not sure how dragons and pegasus fly, but if you watch a show motion clip of a bird taking off, the wings go far in front of them and have that same curved shape you see in the pegasus especially. Personally, I think it is a very dynamic pose and more exciting than a back swept wing. But hey, I also like the archangel and rust dragon that both have wings behind them.
