Rule Book Rewrite Project aims to rewrite the original HoMM 3: The Board Game rule book, in which the amount of vague language was just too vast to ignore. Its aim is to explain the rules clearly and concisely, and should eventually have an answer for any basic rules query you might have.

Translated the rulebook to multiple languages: French, Polish, Spanish, Ukrainian are done; Russian and German are in progress. Please talk to us if you want to help with the translation.
Decreased the size of the PDF
Added a section with list of components with pictures to help visually identify what is what, like done in the official rulebook, but shows components from all expansions
Fixed rules about removing cards during trading
Fixed rules about using the deck for Secondary Hero
Fixed rules about possible targets for Ranged units
Fixed rules about Paralysis
Removed wrong rules about which cards can be used outside of Combat
Clarified rules about Defense token
Clarified rules about AI combat
Clarified rules about Quick combat
Clarified anatomy of Map Tiles and a corner case about Blocked Fields
Clarified what the misprinted Windmill tile does – the tile is saying “?”
Clarified the list of visitable locations that they are Visitable
Moved the trading table to back cover, as it’s needed very often
Made the difficulty table and trading table easier to read
Made the image in Setup section more visible while looking at the setup steps
Visually clarified when the combat with neutrals starts
Renamed the Other Rules section to Trading, the AI Heroes section to AI Rules
Turned multiple images with text and tables to actual text, which can be translated
Various typographic fixes
Multiple internal changes to improve the process of writing the book and translating it
Removed the component list pdf, as Archon published their content guides for every expansion. For the case if for some reason it’s needed, the old list is still available in version 1.1 in the github repository
