Third Upgrade Mod v 3.5 update changelog:
- Updated New Town plugin and Amethyst: Fixed numerous other bugs and improved several aspects.
- Improved Silos Upgrade feature.
- Fixed the “alternative upgrades” option not working; it was disabled by default when TUM was enabled. (Thanks to Archer!).
- The wog options to enable Fourth Upgrades and 8th Dwellings is working again!
- Fixed Lord of Tartarus/Archfiends take overflow damage when they are shot.
- Now Fallen Angel and Angel of the Death can be transformed into Skeleton Angel in Skeleton Transformer.
- Pandora Boxes feature have been removed as part of a restructuring and to make room for other mods that can do something similar.
- Added “JS – new artifacts” to the list of incompatible mods.

The following bug fixes and improvements were made by SadnessPower. (Thanks a lot for your help!):
- Optimized and fixed countless issues related to the growth of 8th monsters in cities.
- Rewritten growth modifications in a way which modifies vanilla function instead of replacing it entirely.
- Other growth-modification mods to be compatible
- Better stability and no unexpected behaviour since vanilla tested code handles the core of the behaviour
- Added configuration for town-specific boats
- Fixed outline glowing for building > 43 and/or towns > 9
- Fixed crash while generating a new map for some specific templates
- Fixed arrow towers doing less damage with Cathedral instead of doing more
- Fixed WOG golden arrow tower being mistakenly disabled
- Fixed required building list showing all required buildings, not only the direct dependencies.
- Fixed: The Grail no longer allows the recruitment of special units.
- Fixed an issue in the map editor regarding dwellings composed of 4 creatures; they can now be selected and placed on the map without any problems!
The following bugs were fixed by PerryR. (Many thanks, mate!):
- Fixed an issue where units in the first slot would act first in combat!
- Horn of the Abyss (artifact) — syntax error: Added the missing colon in !!VR(isAlive:y):S(flags) so the living-creature flag can be evaluated correctly. Horn of the Abyss — Fangarm summon calculation: Changed BM:P to BM:H when reading the defeated creature’s HP. The previous code used its battlefield hex position as its HP, making the number of summoned Fangarms depend on where the victim died.
- Ring of Oblivion (artifact) — corpse removal: Changed the creature-count condition from <0 to <=0. Normally defeated stacks have zero creatures, so the previous condition skipped their corpses.
- Ring of Elements (artifact) — effect carrying over between battles: Added a guarded restoration of the original summoning restriction after combat and cleared the ring’s temporary state. Previously, the modified value could be captured as the “original” value in the next battle, allowing the effect to persist without the ring.
- Creature specialties — fourth-upgrade syntax error: Added the missing colon before C in the conditional UN command. This repairs the intended creature-ID substitution used when applying specialty bonuses to fourth upgrades.
