How to install Heroes 3 VCMI and new towns mods tutorial

The purpose of VCMI project is to rewrite the entire Heroes of Might and Magic III engine from scratch, giving it new and extended possibilities. Hope to support mods and new towns already made by fans but abandoned because of game code limitations.

I have done all the installations correctly, and I can enter the game, but when I select one of the new cities on the random map and hit play, the game keeps crashing on the loading screen. VCMI has crashed, it says.

When I installed VCMI 1.6, the Heroes 3 Data tab that you showed in the video doesn’t appear, so I can’t proceed like in the video. After the installation is complete, when I run VCMI, the Launcher window opens and I can see the mod loading section. In the settings tab, there is no tab regarding data files.
sorry, i uninstalled the game but forgot to delete remaining files. thats why it didn’t work. thanks a lot.
when i take over a new town when i go to build it up the game instantly
crashes but my starting castle is fine
