HoMM: Olden Era – Heroes and Units with Voice lines idea
I’ve had this idea in mind for quite a while: it would be great if units on the battlefield said a short voice line whenever they were selected or activated, similar to classic real-time strategy games like Warcraft or Command & Conquer.
I think it would make longer battles feel more alive. And if the game even included humorous or memorable quotes like the legendary voice lines from Warcraft III, it would be fantastic.
That said, I realize it’s probably very unlikely to happen. With the huge number of units available in Olden Era, recording voice lines for all of them would be a massive undertaking. Not to mention multiplayer matches, where players usually try to speed through their turns as quickly as possible.
