Phoenix Mod
Heroes 3: Phoenix mod focuses on improving an already brilliant game, primarily by significantly increasing the difficulty and introducing new mechanics. These include recruiting a starting army, the ability to learn all secondary skills using points earned from battles, and upgrading primary attributes as well (attack, defense, etc.). This allows players to specialize their hero — for example, if you want to focus purely on magic, you can invest only in Spell Power and Knowledge.
Right from the start, players will be surprised by a fortress built in front of their town and the guards protecting it. If you see a group of goblins standing near a mine, think twice before attacking — in battle, they might be reinforced by Titans or Black Dragons. The overall difficulty has increased dramatically, with battles being more balanced and much tougher.
Another major feature is unit upkeep, meaning your troops must be paid daily. Heroes can also choose a unit to specialize in, and this unit does not have to belong to their native town.
Phoenix Mod Installation (ERA II version)
- Download and run [Gameplay] Phoenix Mod.exe.
- Follow the installer instructions and select the correct directory where Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete with ERA 2.46f is installed.
- An English menu can be added by downloading and running [Graphics] Phoenix Mod ENG Menu Skin.exe.
- For proper functionality, installing additional mods is not recommended.
- Launch the game using h3era.exe.

What else to suggest? Chaos Towns with mixed stacks, AI capitals with Defenders, heroes classes, interface features, colorful texts, hot keys, artifacts from battles, treasurers at city halls, dark magic, stable necromancy, reserve stacks, useful war machines, towns balance and many other things…

I found older version that works directly on HOMM III and no errors so far (unless one time, when I tried to load an autosave .. )

BTW, did anyone else realize that Phoenix mod is the only one that fixes Colloseum bug? (getting +2 ATT for free).
This will be a problem. Phoenix mod is not compatible with HD mod.
Phoenix mod 3.61 is only in english version. Phoenix mod 3.63 is only in Russian language. Higher version does not exist.
Hi! I have Era 2.4.6 and HD mod. HD mod makes many problems. I try to find version 3.64+ for Phoenix but no site or link. Any help?

I’ve never had this problem. Which version do you have installed? WoG version or ERA II version?
Try this:
Make a clean install of Heroes 3 Complete. Install ERA II a then install Phoenix Mod for ERA II.

Phoenix je zaujímavý mod, ale priznám sa, už bol veľmi prekombinovaný a dosť pomenil charakter hry, preto som sa vrátil ku klasike a najnovšie k Horn of the Abyss.
Ak chceš, aby si mal menu v anglickom jazyku a nie ruskom, nainštaluj si túto modifikáciu: https://heroes3wog.net/phoenix-mod-english-skin/
tento mod ma zatial bavi najviac, ale z nejakého dôvodu mi blbne s ERA II (vlastne rovnako mi blbne aj samotná ERA). Tak som si našiel na ich stránke (čo bol problém, lebo celý Phoenix projekt sa zdá byť) abandoned WoG inštalačku: Phoenix Mod 3.61.exe … je stará, lebo aj po aplikácii Englifikácie je hlavné menu v ruštine. Ešte som to úplne neotestoval, ale zdá sa že to už ide.
na začiatku hry si je možné vybrať starting army, hrdina si môže vybrať specialization, v boji je možné kúzliť 2x (niečo ako magical luck), vojská stoja maintenance, mana sa dá kupiť za zlato… akože toto je aká pecka!!!!
Som na tom podobne, ja som svoje prvé lepšie PC mal v roku 2000 a ako prvá hra bola Heroes 3. Rovnako hrávam s prestávkami, aj ročnými a stále sa k hre vraciam, určite skús multiplayer cez internet, je to ešte väčšia zábava.
Na WoG som narazil len úplnou náhodou, no už vtedy ma zaujal a až o dobrých 6 rokov neskôr som vytvoril tento web 🙂

Aha jasné díky 🙂 , teraz sa tu babrem a vyberám módy, ktoré chcem skúsiť a tak… ver, never Homam III bola prvá hra ktorú som hral na vlaston počítači, to bol rok 2001, dovtedy len u kamoša Heroes I a II, no tá hra je geniálna, chytilo ma to velmi :), hrám stále s prestávkami, či vačšími alebo menšími, ale o týchto módoch som nevedel, internet som mal až ovela neskôr a to ma už nenapado ani že existujú módy aj pre tak starú hru, super stránka inak fakt, 100 palcov hore :)) si macher
