HoMM3 HD mod extended functionality tips
I don’t think any of us play Heroes of Might and Magic III without the HD mod these days. Here are some tips and features of this mod that are easy to overlook. They work for Heroes 3 Complete, Horn of the Abyss and ERA Project.

Press [Alt] + Left Click on a hero or town to move them to the top of the list.
Scroll through your town list using the mouse wheel.
Open the Quick Menu with F5 or Middle Mouse Button for instant access to marketplace, Thieves GUild, Dimension Door range area, Replay My turn and Map grid.
You can instantly finish a battle by pressing Q key. The game will ask for confirmation, and the combat will end immediately as if you had selected Auto Combat (without spellcasting), but without playing the battle animations.
Press B to instantly open the Marketplace (if your town has one), or press G to open the Thieves’ Guild (if your town has a Tavern). You can use these hotkeys both on the Adventure Map and in the Town Screen.
