Heroes 3 VCMI version v1.7.5 – Bugfix release
The VCMI v1.7.5 update does not introduce any new features and focuses entirely on fixing crashes and other issues reported by players since version 1.7.4. These include crashes when starting random maps with a random number of players, loading saves with eliminated players, updating or importing mods, shutting down the game, and several other issues. In total, around 20 different crash-related issues have been fixed.

| ⚙️WoG Folder is online source of HoMM mods I’ve discovered over the past decade. It’s regularly updated, and all mods are neatly organized. The WoG Folder also contains various goodies like the “Did you know?“ series, artworks, manuals, meme collections, and more. |
Meanwhile, development of the next major update, VCMI 1.8, is already underway. The planned release date remains December, and if everything goes according to plan, the update will introduce numerous long-awaited features.
Among the planned additions are hardware acceleration, which should improve performance on mobile devices and reduce freezes and lag on PC, initial scripting support for modders, improved AI, enemy turn replay, and many other new features.
