There’s been a lot of talk about recent events lately, so we wanted to take the time to talk about the latest information we have available to us, and what the current progress on shipping is.

Current HoMM III: The Board Game Status

Good news, everyone! The train that contains the Basic and Azure tier pledges has arrived! It was slightly delayed again due to extreme weather conditions, but we’re glad to have confirmation that it’s here and there’s not a lot of time left until we start shipping the first pledges.

We’ve also received confirmation from our manufacturer that ALL Wave 1 pledges will be shipped out before the beginning of the Chinese New Year. Even better – it seems like we’ll have a decent number of stock left over, which means that after we’ve shipped Wave 1, we will also ship any pledges for Wave 2 that we can. One last thing, we ultimately decided that pledges will be shipped in order of how early you closed your pledge, as well as how “simple” your pledge is to ship!

Ships Ahoy

As mentioned in previous updates, we planned to have the remaining pledges here by the end of January, but this is looking more and more unlikely as there have been some issues with shipping recently – the Suez Canal is not currently being used by a lot of shipping companies due to recent events which means that ships have to sail around Africa. As transport from China to Poland now takes an additional 20 days, we have decided to partner up with Quartermaster Logistics to deliver packages to the US, and we’re currently searching for a similar solution for Australia to get those packages to as many people as soon as possible.

It’s also worth noting that shipping for this campaign has gone up due to recent events, but we can confidently state that we will cover these additional costs without any issues!

Expected Delivery

So, taking everything into account, we will simply explain when you can more or less expect to see your pledge.

Basic + Azure – Wave 1 will start shipping very soon. Some of Wave 2 will be delivered after we finish the 1st Wave, but the rest will be sent after the Chinese New Year.

Anything Else – The first containers are about to be shipped but due to the longer shipping time mentioned earlier in the update, they’re expected to reach us towards the beginning of March, after which they will be shortly shipped out. After we finish shipping all of the Wave 1 pledges, we will ship any leftover stock to Wave 2 backers.
