The Hill Fort upgrade cost for creature levels 1 to 4 is less expensive than upgrading them in associated town.
- Level 1: Free
- Level 2: 25% of normal
- Level 3: 50% of normal
- Level 4: 75% of normal
- Level 5–7: Normal
Horn of the Abyss Hil Fort allows you to upgrade present creatures of only 1-5 levels and for twice the price (old Hill Fort does not persist on random maps anymore).
