Heroes of Might and Magic: Battles
With the announcement of new expansions for HoMM III: The Board Game, we have one more interesting thing here. Archon Studio announced rank-and-file war game – Heroes of Might and Magic: Battles. I’m new to this and I don’t know what rank-and-file war game means and the internet didn’t help me much either. So I’ll wait and see. Here is the announcement from newsletter:

We’re not finished announcing stuff either, are you ready for more “Might and Magic” fans?! We are proud to announce that together with renowned designers – Andy Chambers and Jervis Johnson, we are working on a rank-and-file war game – “Heroes of Might and Magic: Battles.” It will be a project that will let you experience “HoMM III” like never before.

I don’t know what rank and file is either. I searched a little and found out it’s some kind of a board game where you have something like a battlefield and the board also allows you to put obstacles like trees and rocks on the map.
I don’t know about the rest, but it looks like this will be another board game and will focus on battles or something like that, either way, I’m not interested in those one bit.
