Heroes 3 Miniatures Contest 2026 – 4th Edition has officially begun!
Dear Heroes, welcome to the 4th edition of the Heroes 3 Miniatures Contest, where you’ll once again put your creativity to the test using the HeroForge Custom miniatures editor.
Your mission is simple: recreate Heroes of Might and Magic III creatures as accurately as possible. This year, the available creatures have been pre-selected, meaning every participant will compete within the same categories.
For the first time in the history of the contest, your creations will be judged by three original creators of Heroes of Might and Magic III: David Mullich, Greg Fulton and Paul Anthony Romero.
Categories
This year’s contest features five categories, each dedicated to one Heroes III creature:
- Minotaur King (Dungeon)
- Champion (Castle)
- Naga Queen (Tower)
- Battle Dwarf (Fortress)
- Power Lich (Necropolis)
How to participate
- Create selected creatures using the HeroForge editor.
- Include your nickname.
- Take a screenshot of the miniature and create a sharing link (here is how).
- Send your submission and sharing link to admin@heroes3wog.net.
- Each participant may submit up to two different miniatures.
- Kitbashing is not allowed.
- All submitted miniatures will be published on the heroes3wog.net website and Facebook page.
- By submitting your miniature, you agree to these simple contest rules.
- If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to leave a comment.
Category rules
- Each category has its own prize.
- To activate a category, it must receive at least 10 submitted miniatures.
- The Grand Prize will only be awarded if at least four of the five categories reach this minimum number of entries.
- Based on the participation in previous years, I’m confident we’ll reach this goal together!

- Winners Announced: September 25, 2026
Judging
This year’s contest will once again be judged by an extraordinary panel featuring three original creators of Heroes of Might and Magic III.
The winning miniatures will be selected by:
- Greg Fulton – Lead Designer of Heroes of Might and Magic III
- David Mullich – Director of Heroes of Might and Magic III
- Paul Anthony Romero – Composer of the Heroes of Might and Magic series
- Liso1 – Heroes 3.5 WoG Portal admin
- As in the previous edition, one additional Special Award will be selected by my wife.
