Heroes 3 VCMI v1.7.1 hotfix update
First hotfix for VCMI 1.7 releases, version 1.7.1 is now available, and mostly consists of fixes for crashes and other major issues with 1.7.0 release.

VCMI 1.7 is save compatible with 1.6 releases, so you can continue your game if you wish. However, starting a new game or restarting a scenario for campaigns is still recommended. If you wish to continue playing 1.6 game in 1.7 please avoid updating mods since a lot of major mods have made save-breaking updates.
Notable fixes and changes:
- Fixed crashes caused by game state corruption after loading save made in 1.6 in 1.7 version
- Fixed desynchronization between client and server caused by temporary artifacts generated during AI turn causing AI to freeze and not pass its turn
- Fixed picked up artifacts turning into Spell Books on maps in .vmap format
- Fixed crash on rearranging troops in some cases in multiplayer
- Fixed randomization of damage range when unit can kill whole unit stack at max damage
- Added support for generating screenshots in-game. By default this action is bound to F3 hotkey
- Fixed HD assets incorrectly used for .def files of mods if file names inside .def clash with H3 filenames
- Fixed reset of AI settings on opening Launcher. AI settings will be reset to default for all players
- Added option to disable creation of save before map object visit
- Nullkiller2 should now act faster at higher difficulties, however this may also make this AI a little less challenging. To be revised in future updates.

- Avoid crash and display error message on failure to install mod after opening screenshot tab during mod download on some systems
- Fixed desynchronization between client and server caused by temporary artifacts generated during AI turn
- Fixed rare crash on having growing artifacts in inventory in the same time as having expired charging artifact
- Fixed randomization of damage range when unit can kill whole unit stack at max damage
- Added support for generating screenshots in-game. By default this action is bound to F3 hotkey
- It is now possible to abort selection of a campaign set after pressing button to open list of campaign sets
- Fixed HD assets incorrectly used for .def files of mods if file names inside .def clash with H3 filenames
- Disabled black bars that were present on iOS on both sides of the screen to avoid areas with camera notch and rounded corners
- Removed map hack from Nullkiller2 AI
- Adjusted Nullkiller2 AI settings to improve performance
- Fixes an issue where fallback from MMAI to BattleAI was not correctly triggered.
- Fixed handling of battles with over 20 units present by MMAI
- Improved performance of MMAI by up to 50%
- Fixed reset of AI settings on opening Launcher. AI settings will be reset to default for all players
- Added option to disable before visit saves
- Fixed not visible star in mod list title on some systems
- Fixed saving of customized map object parameters for RMG in template editor
- Fixed bug that made it impossible to select gold as reward for Seer Hut
- Fixed passability overlay not visible on 3rd and later layers
- Fixed several cases of broken layout in map editor
