WoG Scripts
New versions of ERA since version 2.9.10 no longer contain WoG Scripts such as Map Options and Enhancements, Skills, Monsters and Heroes Enhancements and Balancing, Map Rules… The development has split and Bersy is working on new ERA versions and Igrik on WoG scripts.
So in order to have all the options as before, you need to manually install the Wake of Gods scripts. It’s easy, just install ERA as before and then download and install WoG scripts. New versions of ERA are also compatible with HD modification.

ERA 2.9.x / ERA 3 and WoG Scripts installation
Step 1. – Installation of Heroes 3 Complete
For the installation it is required to have Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete from GOG.COM installed on your computer. Do not use s*itty RIP versions from the internet!
An important step is choosing the right destination folder where Heroes 3 Complete is installed. Click on the “Browse” button and click your way to the Heroes 3 Complete folder. I have my game installed directly on the C drive c:\gog gamess\HoMM 3 Complete. Do not install the game in a “Program Files” folder. Click “Install”.
Step 2. – ERA installation
Download and run latest version of ERA (currently it is version Era 2.9.14.exe), then select Heroes 3 Complete folder. Do not install this build on already installed versions of WoG, HotA, or any other mod. Click “Install” button.
Select Heroes 3 Complete folder and click install.
Step 3. – Installation of WoG Scripts
Download and unzip [Gameplay] WoG Scripts.zip archive. Run WoG_Scripts.exe. Select Heroes 3 Complete folder with ERA 2.9.14 installed.
Select Heroes 3 Complete folder and click extract.
Step 4. – ERA Start Menu
After a successful installation, the ERA Start Menu appears automatically. If not, you can launch it from your Desktop. Click Mod Manager.
Step 4. – Mod Manager
After the correct installation of ERA 2.9.14 and WoG Scripts, Mod Manager will look exactly like this, no differently! Close Mod manager.
Step 5. – WoG Options
Run ERA II from your Desktop or from ERA Start Menu and set up the game using WoG Options.
Optional step 6. – HD mod
Version 2.9.14 is partially compatible with HD modification. You can install it.
Hi guys. I have a problem when I extract the WOG scripts. It shows me 180 errors and it can not be installed. When I try to open the WoG from the ERA menu it shows me these two errors (that these files are missing and reinstallation would help:

binkw32.dll
I have godlen Edition of Heroes 3 but it is Polish edition. Does that make an errors?
The golden edition in Polish means complete, Armageddon + the shadow of death

Hi, I’m not sure if its a proper way to ask for bugs to be fixed, but there is one bug that is present in WOG for years now…
You can easily recreate this bug.
Whenever a neutral monster – Soul Eater (Necropolis Commander) tries to revive anything, it breaks the game. It even works when its AI Player’s turn. Mostly it happens while attacking structures like “Home of the Bat” or “Transylvanian Tavern”.

Postrádám volbu WOG Split Decision v nabídce ERA, přestože ve WOG Scripts ji vidím. Nevíte, kde se to dá zapnout? Jsem na to za ta léta docela zvyklý.

Ahoj, bohužiaľ niektoré skripty boli z hry odstránené, pretože buď robili problémy, alebo boli málo používané, alebo fungovali trochu ako cheaty.
Úprimne, ani si nepamätám čo Split Decision robil :/
Split Decision dělá to, že jsi během boje mohl početnější jednotku rozdělit na 2 poloviny. Ve výsledku jsi tedy místo 7 jednotek mohl mít na poli až 14 jednotek.
Byla to velice důležitá věc strategie.
Aj som si myslel, ale to je skôr cheatovanie, tak preto bol tento skript odstránený.
