The Mysterious Island is a Giant-sized (252×252) scenario for Heroes of Might and Magic III: Horn of the Abyss, inspired by Jules Verne’s classic novel. The map supports up to six human players and can be played solo or in a 2v2v2 cooperative format.
Developed over many years and finalized with the release of the HotA Bulwark faction, the map now features all 12 factions and offers a wide range of gameplay experiences. It is designed to be accessible to newcomers while still providing a serious challenge for experienced and hardcore players.
From relaxed exploration on lower difficulties to demanding speedrun attempts on Impossible (King) at 200% difficulty, The Mysterious Island rewards smart difficulty selection and strategic planning, ensuring high replay value for every type of player.
