The starting army of heroes who specialize in level 1 and 2 creatures consists only of the three stacks of creatures they specialize in.
Specialists: Aleska, Ufretin, Piquedram, Calh, Ignatius, Galthran, Straker, Lorelei, Shakti, Gretchin, Tyraxor, Drakon, Wystan, Cassiopeia (HotA) and Derek (HotA).
There are no level 1 and 2 creature specialists in Conflux.
