HoMM: Olden Era – Necropolis all creatures revealed
Heroes of Might & Magic Olden Era is a new installment of the renowed series of turn-based strategy games, where action takes place in Enroth, on the continent of Jadame, mentioned but never explored in a Heroes of Might & Magic game before.
Traverse a vibrant and living fantasy world full of wonders and dangers, build magnificent capital cities, raise massive armies and clash in epic, highly tactical battles of heroes and mythical creatures. Planned Release Date: Q2 2025
Tier I: Skeleton > Skeleton Warrior / Skeleton Archer
This is what happens when you try to revive a person with no specific ritual. It isn’t even a creature per se — just a pile of bones cobbled together with magic and basic motor reflexes.
Tier II: Wight > Wraith / Phantasm
A person so dear to someone, they were brought back to life against their will. Dissolving, confused, they claw at others’ memories, desperately trying to remember — or steal — their names and identities back.
Tier III: Undead Pet > Bargeist / Armadillo
Some necromancers raise elves and humans. Other raise creatures that are actually dear and loyal to them. Dogs do not suffer in undeath. Is there a fate better than to stay at a master’s side forever?
Tier IV: Graverobber > Merchant of Death / Kennel Master
An opportunist who followed undead masters to help them produce skeletons and bodies — in any way he could, either by digging old corpses up or creating new ones.
Tier V: Lich > Pestilent Lich / Sanguine Lich
A self-revived undead who chained themselves to existence with a phylactery and a rite prepared before death. They seek immortality and on Jadame they also study time-turning magic — necromancy is not the only way to linger in this world, after all.
Tier VI: Dread Knight > Avatar of War / Hollow Reaper
A knight who was so engulfed in battle, they missed the moment they died — and kept fighting, their soul leaking from the remains and infusing the armor.
Tier VII: Vampire > Vampire Lord / Vampire Scholar
Capable of prolonging their life indefinitely, some say vampires are the pinnacle of creation. They themselves definitely do. (Dragons would hard disagree.)
