Heroes 7.5 update v1.44 with new neutral units
Heroes of Might and Magic 7.5: Ultimate Edition is a comprehensive fan-made overhaul that significantly expands and improves the original Heroes VII experience. This ambitious mod adds five brand-new playable factions—Inferno, Tower, Sanctuary, Conflux, Xel and Temple. Each faction comes with its own identity and two exclusive creatures (one Elite and one Champion), which are recruited through unique sacrificial buildings.

Balance Changes
- Arcane Archer & Evolution: Maximum damage reduced by 1.
- The creature no longer fires at maximum range.
- Slight reduction to Cyclone damage.
- Weak Point: Attack and Defense reduction increased to 20 (previously 10).
- Smoke Bomb rework: Adjacent enemy creatures now suffer −20% final damage and +10% damage taken.
- Increased effectiveness of Demonic Portals by ~10%.
- General market price rebalancing.

- Light Warrior / Paladin
- Buccaneer / Corsair
- Corruptor of the Abyss / Lord of the Abyss

- Harpooner / Ruthless Harpooner
- Leviathan

Skills & Spells
- Frost Rune: Now has a 50% chance to freeze the target (previously 100%).
- Added cooldown timer for the Lightning spell.
- Added cooldown timer for the Light Burst spell.
- Fix: Purifying Light no longer allows a creature that has already acted to act again.
- Fix: Necrotic Resurrection now works correctly in Random Skill Mode.
- New master‑rank Light spell: Allows a creature that has already acted to act again and heal itself.
Units & Factions
- Shantiri Gold: Healing ability removed.
- Climbing Bramble now targets only one creature.
- Dungeon
- Removed building requirement for Medusa units to improve early‑game access.
- Increased health and progression for Assassins.
- Leveled Assassins now gain the Shadow Armor skill (similar to Sharpshooters).
- Shadow Armor: Increased damage absorption per hero level.
Fixes
- Mentor ability no longer grants XP to encountered heroes.
- Odin: Fixed a stat that caused the opposing hero to flee instantly.
- Visual fix: Stronghold alternate creature — lightning cloud no longer moves with the bird.
Mercenary
- Added random hero option for Mercenaries; random faction Mercenaries can now appear in the AI pool.
- Removed all duplicate neutral creatures from the Menagerie (new creatures will be added to fill the gap).
Cosmetics & Reworks
- Ancestral Vampire Skin reworked based on community feedback.
- Ancestral Vampire Charge Ability updated:
- Attack now overrides defense during activation.
- The creature returns to its initial position after attacking (once per combat).
