English description – Heroes 1: Masquerade Mod

“New” Demoniac’s castle which replaces the Sorceress’ castle:
– new graphics
lineup:
– Demons are just like Sprites
– Imps are faster and weaker than Dwarfs
– Alp is a flying creature
– Mare is like a Unicorn
– Devils building price and statistics are same as the Cyclops who have been removed

Warlock’s castle:
– new snow background
– the first level unit is weaker Rogue
– the fourth level unit is Dark Elf who shoots

Barbarian’s castle:
– the first level unit is Savage who is a centaur with a spear. He doesn’t shoot.
– Ogres have a different outfit for no reason
– the sixth level units are Rocs. Rocs building price and statistics are same as the Phoenixes who have been removed

Knight’s castle:
– no changes

–Neutral units:
– Rogues are replaced by really weak and recoloured Dwarfs

There is no new campaign because the map editor doesn’t work on W10.

Installation:
0. You need DOS version of Heroes I from GOG
1. Unpack h1mod.zip into your Heroes I directory
2. Go to DATA
3. Run setup.bat

No fórach stránky The Heroes Round Table som narazil asi na prvú modifikáciu Heroes 1! Jej názov je Masquerade a prichádza s novými jednotkami a mestami, ono sú farebne zmenené jednotky a inak umiestnené budovy v mestách, stručné zhrnutie čo prináša nová modifikácia:

Frakcia Sorceress sa zmenila na Demoniacs a zmenili sa jednotky, ako napr. Demon, Imp, Alp, alebo Mare (prefarbený jednorožec). Frakcia Warlock má nové snežné pozadie, jednotka prvej úrovne je slabší Rogue a jednotka 4 úrovne je temný elf. Frakcia Barbarian dostala novú jednotku kentaura, ktorý má kópiu a nie je strelec a Knight frakcia je bez zmien. neutrálnou jednotku je pozmenený trpaslík.

Bohužiaľ modifikáciu sa mi nepodarilo rozbehať, aj keď som postupoval podľa návodu, ale budem skúšať ďalej.

Inštalácia:

• Je potrebná Heroes I DOS verzia hry z GOG
•  Rozbaľte obsah súboru [Heroes 1] Masquerade mod v0.1.zip do priečinku s hrou Heroes I
• Choďte do zložky DATA
• Spustite súbor setup.bat – (bohužiaľ v tomto bode mi inštalácia vypísala chybu)
