Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is the official prequel hailing back to the origins of the genre-defining, critically acclaimed series of turn-based strategy games. Raise grand armies and wield devastating spells to overcome your foes in both solo and multiplayer.

At launch, Early Access will feature six unique factions: Temple, Dungeon, Schism, Grove, Necropolis, and Hive.
An in-game tutorial will be available to help both new and returning players get started.
Early Access includes the first act of the campaign, with more acts planned for the full release.
You’ll be able to play premade scenarios with their own stories, with more added over time.
The game will feature Classic, Single Hero, and Arena modes, playable in both single-player and multiplayer.
Multiplayer will include matchmaking, ranked play, and leaderboards for all three modes.
A wide variety of Random Map Generator templates will ensure strong replayability.
Hotseat mode will be available, allowing multiple players to take turns on a single PC.
Players can also enjoy a series of puzzle-style challenges.
A pre-release version of the map editor will be included, letting players create their own custom adventures.
Olden Era will launch in Early Access on April 30, 2026, available on Steam and Xbox Game Pass. The price has not been announced yet.
