Broken Alliance map returns in Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era
A true classic is making its comeback! Unfrozen Studio has officially confirmed that Broken Alliance, one of the most memorable maps from Heroes of Might and Magic II, will return in Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era.
Defeat the former allies who betrayed you and conquer the entire land. Without story driven events or scripted sequences, Broken Alliance focuses entirely on strategic gameplay and tactical battles, making it one of the best maps in the series.
Originally introduced in Heroes of Might and Magic II, the map later returned in Heroes VI, and now it is set to make its third appearance in the franchise with Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era.
The remake of Broken Alliance for Olden Era is being created by Francois Papyjama, a well known member of the Heroes community and the creator of the outstanding fan map The Mysterious Island. It will be exciting to see how he recreates the charming fairy tale atmosphere that made Heroes II maps so memorable.
