HoMM: Olden Era – Zoom in/out option and bigger battlefield
HoMM: Olden Era has introduced another improvement that I personally felt was missing from the game, the ability to zoom in/out on the battlefield. This allows you to take a closer look at units during combat and better assess the situation.
There’s also one more important change: an expanded battlefield. The combat field is now 13 hexes wide and 11 hexes height. In the Olden Era demo, the battlefield was 11×9 hexes, so this change provides even more room for tactical play.
