Neutral creatures in battle with no hero can be affected by morale, but they cannot be lucky even if Luck is positive for them. Misfortune spell also has no effect on neutrals.

Halflings are unable to get Luck unless being commanded by a hero, despite the game saying that they have +1 Luck. (Fixed in Horn of the Abyss.)
