Third Upgrades mod v3.3.0 update with new AI logic

With Third Upgrade Mod every town can have a new building that is used as a general ‘upgrade guild’. Thanks to this the player will be able to upgrade creatures in the town to their new forms. Mod also include +125 New Creatures. +90 New Artifacts. +Various decorative objects that are generated in RMG +45 new Dwellings. +35 new Creature Banks. +New adventure objects.

Third Upgrades mod changelog:

  • New AI logic; Now has it’s own config option “AIBoost”. Set to 1 if you wish to use in the “towns.cfg”. It is a complete rewrite of vanilla ai building and recruitment logic, and works VERY well. If set to 0, it will use fallback vanilla friendly logic, which is potentially bugged still.Fixed some building calculations, no longer shows only 1 text on the adventure screen.
  • Fixed HD mod hints and added 8th hint.
  • Fixed recruitment dialog for 8th incorrectly allowing to recruit creatures that don’t belong to you when in ally town.
  • Fixed Growth incorrectly giving extra creatures when building upgraded dwellings.
  • Regression on the bottom left corner buttons not always showing tier 3/4.Recruitment dialog not auto-closing when purchasing 8th creatures.
  • Fixed Text for growth not updating to current count in town.
  • Now Great Capitol can be built one per player. (Just like vanilla Capitol).
  • Now Great Capitol needs Castle Level 3 in order to be built.
  • Allow Building Twice per Day is enabled by default.
  • TUM has it own Castle Upgrading feature, and because of this Castle Upgrading Option is disabled by default.
  • Disabled by default HD Remaster by Community, reason: A very problematic mod.
  • Disabled by default Unified Town Recruitment mod, reason: Unlimited recruitment units bug.
  • Removed the annoying message about guards when you click on Castle.
  • Capitol can be built in every town option is enabled by default.
  • Universal Upgrades option can be enabled now.

    So much crashes since Update.
    I think necros make big problems.
    Without fixing this, u cant play wog.

    Also, since the update, every other neutral town (and even AI’s) have Grail built. Maybe I’m missing some tweaks and options which need to be checked/unchecked?

    Since the latest updates (Third Upgrade Mod, HD Mod, main game update), there are now SEVERAL new bugs and several returning old bugs.

    1. AI will not build castle or higher level creatures (sometimes past level 3) for months and months into the game.

    2. Holding ‘A’ to upgrade creatures now costs MUCH more gold than it should, FAR more than just double clicking to do the upgrade.

    3. Building the 8th creature and then trying to hire them crashes the game.

    4. The Fly spell bug has returned, now banning Fly does not work, it appears anyway.

    5. Creatures can be upgraded to Third Upgrade form with only the regular upgrade dwelling built.

    6. Creature that are not bought before day 1 disappear from the castle.

    7. A commander killing with long range or magic does not count toward their kill count, only close range kills count (this one has been around a while).

    8. You’re now unable to dismiss stacks while in the castle, or from the castle. You have to step out of the castle to dismiss a stack.

    I’m sure there are more, this is just what I found in one single player game.

      9. If you have some dwellings upgraded to the third upgrade level, and some dwellings at basic level, then when you upgrade a basic dwelling to second level, that dwelling will be populated with creatures.
