I finished Disciples: Liberation and here are my pros and cons
And yes, I’m a fan of the old Disciples I and II (I’ve never played Disciples III), but I played them about 20 years ago. Disciples: Liberation is a worthy successor to the series. And no, I’m not getting paid for this. 😀
After more than 50 hours in the game, I can write you the following pros and cons:
Disciples: Liberation Pros:
+ a good story that in my case excited me to NewGame+ (Liberation mode)
+ your decisions have a good / bad effect on your companions / story
+ Avyanna and Ori are cool 🙂
+ the game runs without problems and bugs (PC version)
+ game time is at least 45-50 hours
+ a huge number of accessories that you can hang on the main heroine
+ backline abilities
+ thank God for Conquer mode, with which it is possible to skip easier fights
+ creatures and the battlefield looks perfect
+ Ejamar
+ quest with a talking cow who, for a change, wanted to try human meat 😀
Disciples: Liberation Cons:
– game controls (mix of console and mobile), poor use of mouse
– lack of music, sometimes there is complete silence
– a bit lengthy fights, fortunately the easier ones can be skipped (Conquer mode)
– an awful lot of spells you’ll never use (just like in Heroes 3)
– I don’t understand at all why I should return to the city to collect resources (like in mobile games…)
Soubojový systém je zábavný a dostatečně variabilní.
Kouzel jsou spousty, zatím (nejsem ještě ani v půlce kampaně) všechny fungují a jsou využitelné.
Krátké nahrávací časy nekouskují zábavu.
Pohyb po mapě není zbytečné zdlouhavý, grafika a stylizace jsou sexy.
Bohužel, je zde stejný fatální problém jako třeba u Kings bounty. Po dohrání kampaně přijde na řadu uninstal a už to pravděpodobně nikdy nezapnu.
Znovu-hratelnost, která z Heroes 3, i Disciples 2 udělala legendy žánru v tomto díle chybí. Naprosto. Tím se tento díl propadne do hlubin zapomnění.
To ale nemění nic na tom, že si užiju 50 hodin úžasné zábavy!
A ještě jsem zapomněl zmínit systém dialogů a postav. Tohle posouvá celou hru o level výš. Super zábavné.
Áno, dialógy sú super, hlavne konverzácie Avy a Oriho ak ide o alkohol 😀
Ahoj, máš v podstate vo všetkom pravdu, ja som sa kúzlením nejako neobťažoval a využíval som tak 2-3 kúzla.
Čo sa týka znovuhrateľnosti, tak to je určite problém, chýba nejaký generátor máp, alebo scenáre ako v Heroes 3.
No hlavná kampaň skončí príbehovo celkom zaujímavo, že určite budeš chcieť skúsiť New Game+ 🙂
I tried playing it a little, but I just did not like it. Neither as a standalone RPG, neither as a Disciples game.
The art style of the units and pretty much everything else was borderline cartoony compared to that of Disciples 2.
