Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Did you know?
nr. 91 – 100

The Conflux hero Inteus is based on George Almond, a concept artist who worked on Heroes of Might and Magic III and IV. He is also known for designing the infamous Forge Naga Tank.

The Angelic Alliance provides the highest primary skill bonus of any combination artifact, granting a total of +21. It even surpasses the Power of the Dragon Father, despite requiring only 6 artifact slots compared to 9.

Spells triggered by the Angelic Alliance and Armor of the Damned will work inside an Anti-Magic Garrison, but they do not function on Cursed Ground — with the exception of first-level spells cast by the Armor of the Damned.

The Lighthouse is a Castle-specific building that increases heroes’ movement points while sailing. However, due to a bug, the bonus applies not only to the owner, but also to allies—and even enemies.

The Advanced level of the Forgetfulness spell affects all ranged enemy units, effectively making it a mass spell—though this is a bug. Affected units deal only 50% damage in melee combat.

While most cloned units inherit the special abilities of the original stack, there are notable exceptions: clones of Efreet Sultans do not have Fire Shield, Vampire Lords cannot resurrect from life drain, and Phoenixes lose their Rebirth ability.

You can target Gold Dragons with the Sacrifice spell, but they can’t be resurrected—because the resurrection part is a level 4 spell, and Gold Dragons are immune to all spells of level 4 and below.

Disrupting Ray can be cast on the same stack multiple times, and its effect stacks permanently for the duration of the battle. Even if the target is killed and later resurrected, the Disrupting Ray effect remains—unlike most other spells, which are removed upon death.

Although the sci-fi-inspired Forge faction was canceled before release, a Forge Blacksmith still appears on the box cover of Armageddon’s Blade—a visual remnant of what could have been.

Bron is the only regular (non-campaign) hero in Heroes of Might and Magic III who starts with creatures above level 3. He begins the game with 4–7 Basilisks, which are level 4 units.
