Heroes 3 ERA Gaming build v1.36.037 contains the latest version of ERA v3.3HD mod 5.2 RC 21ERA Scrips v1.46, Unleashed Map Editor, Mixed Neutrals mod, XXL maps support, Game Enhancement mod, Tavern Videos, BattleQueue mod (for the mod to work, your game resolution must be at least 1076×630 pixels wide.) and more in one installation package!

Only use with HD mod. Without HD, the minimap mod will draw with errors. Later, this problem will be resolved. You should disable Stack Experience when playing online.

  • Updated ERA and scripts of the Era Erm Framework mod to version 3.3.0:
    • Colored texts with translucency, correct width calculation, support for Asian languages and all HD-mod modes, as well as the ability to enter tags in input fields; embedding pictures and icons in any text, updating game plugins from igrik, new sets of monster portraits, many new functions, constants and events for the EPM library, including working with time, arrays, strings, directories, ini-files, monsters and actions in battle , loading settings from json, working with dialogs and prompts; numerous fixes and improvements in EPM, including fixes for the most unpleasant bugs identified during testing.
    • Implemented support for colored texts and the Era markup language in general for all HD-mod modes.
    • It became possible to enter invisible tags into input fields using the symbols “{” and “}”. The implementation may change in the future.
    • Implemented support for alpha channel for colored texts using the {~ RRGGBBAA} syntax.
    • Significantly improved support for Asian languages ??and texts with multiple languages, including correct word wrap and calculation of the width of characters, words and lines. For Chinese, the font file selection is based on the size of the original game font, not the file name in the archive.
    • Implemented the ability to embed def-images into any hero texts. Auto-crop, vertical alignment and horizontal flip are supported.
    • Updated plugins to fix bugs and native dialogs from igrik.
    • Included in the resources file “monprt44.def” with portraits of 44×44 monsters from Bes. The frames in the def file are sorted by monster IDs.
    • Added support for handling single ALT keystrokes.
    • Added auto-creation of “Runtime”, “Games”, “Random_Maps” catalogs. The “Runtime” directory is intended for storing settings and data generated by scripts and plugins while the game is running. Clearing it should return mods to a clean state after installation.
    • Visual improvement of EPM syntax: no need to write “:;”, just one semicolon is enough.
    • Added a command to get a human player sitting at a given computer and a command to work with addresses in RAM.
    • The new event “OnStartOrLoad” is useful for performing actions when starting a map or loading a save.
    • The “Era Erm Framework” library has been replenished with hundreds of new constants for bit masks, addresses of game managers, identifiers of dialog elements, etc.
    • Added tools for convenient handling of mouse and keyboard events with saving in global variables all parameters necessary for writing conditions.

    • Keypress events no longer fire when there is focus in any input field. Entering texts in the chat line no longer interferes with scripts.

    I think this is bugged installation, map editor does not work, gives a lot of errors of missing files and acess violations.

      Hi Tiber, the installation is fine, you just need to run the editor via ERA Start Menu, eitor is on the second page.

        I did, do you have a discord i could send you screenshots to show what errors i get while working with wog map editor.
        Everything else works fine but when i want to add or modify Wog assets with or acess a wogified map alot of errors occur even sometimes corrupting the map alltogether.

    Wow, this service is slow. I own a legitimate copy of heroes 3 complete, and i said map editor does not work. I mean what the hell do i have to do in order to use this package?

      It’s not a service if you don’t pay for it. It’s volunteering!
      What do you expect when you modify game files? You probably ruined the whole installation with your unprofessional intervention.

    I tried a older version from russian folders where the file originates and it works fine, bit outdated, but at least no errors, crashes, missing .dll and wog assets. But hey i was unproffesional to download a cleary botched installer.
