A dedicated fan known as Haunted Spy has made a significant contribution to the Heroes of Might and Magic III community by translating and grammatically polishing 60 maps originally created in Polish, Russian, and Ukrainian.

maps only work with the Horn of the Abyss

10 maps received minor edits focused solely on fixing small issues such as grammatical errors, with no changes to story or gameplay. 50 maps were fully translated into English, again preserving the original narratives and gameplay intact.

All translations and language edits were done by Haunted Spy, who clearly states that they do not claim ownership of the maps themselves. Whenever possible, the original creators and contributors are credited.

Thanks to this effort, many previously inaccessible or hard-to-understand maps are now fully playable for the wider international community.
