- Explore a rich sci-fi world and discover secrets of a lost civilization
- Collect powerful artifacts, secure important resources, upgrade your bases, hire different units and build useful structures on the world map
- Level-up your commanders and crush your opponents in exciting turn-based battles
- Take control over several different species and factions
- Old-school strategy game with modern controls and intuitive UI
The game is currently in its pre-EA release version. Please bear in mind that despite the core gameplay being completed, some of the content is still missing and bugs in art, animations or UI can be expected. Please find more info in Roadmap.
Useful notes for playing, known issues etc.:
– There’s a detailed PDF guide
– Tutorial: the game might feel quite familiar, but the tutorial can still be quite helpful when it comes to learning the controls and some specific mechanics, so we’d recommend quickly going through it before recording.
– Useful keyboard shortcuts: [Alt] on the world map to highlight interactive objects, [Ctrl] in combat for “tactical view” with small units, [Shift] in combat to show enemy movement range when hovering over enemy units.
– Some skills (Techie, Biotic and Globetrotter) allow commanders to learn special abilities, so choosing these skills when they pop up in the level up dialog can make the playthrough more interesting.
– The game should be pretty stable, but if you come across any major bugs, please let Oxymoron Games know, they should be able to provide a fix very quickly.
