New Creatures Bonus Icons v1.0 (ERA II)
Tak konečne môžem prispieť aj ja niečím do sveta modifikácií Heroes 3. New Creatures Bonus Icons je malá grafická modifikácia, ktorá nahradí špeciálne vlastnosti jednotiek novými ikonami (porovnanie na obrázkoch pod článkom). Veľká časť ikon pochádza z modifikácie Andruid’s Bonus Icons pre VCMI, z ktorej som ikony vybral, prirobil k nim niekoľko ďalších a je to hotové. Takže moje zásluhy sú len minimálne. 🙂
Inštalácie je úplne jednoduchá, archív stačí stiahnuť rozbaliť a zložku Mods prekopírovať do zložky kde je nainštalovaná Heroes 3 s ERA II. Treba potvrdiť prepísanie všetkých súborov.

Unfortunatly I doesn’t work, I replaced everything but I kind of get the same Icons shown even on new map etc.. What am I doing wrong?
You’re right, old icons still appear. This will probably be due to the new ERA version. I will try to contact the author.

I figured it out – those files were packed within Mods/WoG/Data/hmm35wog.pac as dlgexpmon.def
I extracted it and replaced the originals and packed it.
Works like a charm!
IF YOU DO THIS –NOTE–: everything has to look exactly the same as the original file otherwise the game will crash if you try to look into the heroes.
For the lazie ones:
I uploaded the hmm35wog.pac file I made which was part of Era 2.8.3 but be sure that you didn’t made any changes to your own otherwise there could be problems – so do a copy of your original for any case! And there is no garanty that it works for older Era versions since I’m not sure how they were packed.

So now I have to find someone who make modification from these files. Thank you. 🙂
