HoMM 3: The Board Game – Shipping Update, Grand Tournament and Stronghold expansion

Shipping for Wave 1 is almost complete, and we’re beginning to wrap up the last few problematic pledges. A reminder that if you closed your pledge on Gamefound after the Wave 1 deadline (31.08.2023) or if you have an unlocked language version (Spanish, Czech, Swedish), your pledge is part of Wave 2 and is planned to be shipped in a couple of months!

Shipping Update

A large portion of Wave 1 Israel pledges were shipped recently, although 35 of these pledges weren’t sent due to an error not adding them to the shipping list. We will work on getting these sent as soon as we can.

We understand that pledges to Ukraine have been delayed for some time, and we are doing whatever we can to get these shipped out as soon as we can. GLP is currently talking to Nova Poshta to see if they can reach an agreement on shipping the pledges there but if one isn’t reached, we will have GLP send the remaining Wave 1 pledges to us, and we will ship the pledges ourselves.

Pledges to Serbia are in a similar situation, where they will be sent through GLP or by us. At this stage, I’m afraid we don’t have more information than that.

Wave 2 still isn’t in danger of being delayed according to our current information from the factory, but we will notify everyone if this changes in a future update. As shown on the original campaign page, the shipping for Wave 2 is planned to start in July 2024 but please note that it will take some time to ship everything out.

Community Creations

We’ve been looking at some of your creations for a while now, and some of them are truly exceptional! This has inspired us to release a booklet with a tutorial and a shortened version of the rules! You’ll hear more about this soon from us. In the meantime, we definitely recommend checking out the Community Facebook Page!

The Grand Tournament

We’re officially announcing our very first tournament for HoMM3! It’s going to take place at Pyrkon, Poland, and will feature a tournament in the board game version as well as the computer game version! The signups have been active for some time and will be full soon, we recommend joining as soon as you can! You can find the details here.

Work on the Stronghold, Conflux, and Cove is continuing and progressing quite well! We already have the 3D model for the Behemoth and Stronghold hero ready, check it out here:
