Sylvan and Schism pics are like those from heroes 4 where you just have a background picture of land and paste random stuff on random places…uhh..

I feel the same way about the whole art style of the game. It feels like whoever decided on the art style has been influenced by cartoony mobile games and every fantasy faction is greatly over exaggerated as if its looks are the most prominent thing. Like architecture or unit armor.

I am going to give the game a try, but the art style doesn’t inspire me at all. For some things like game mechanics they are doing things right, but for others like art style, they are completely misguided and absolutely refuse any criticism, their team members having stated that they won’t make any changes to the art style in the Steam discussion boards.

Overall, the game is a welcome addition to the series, but for me it feels very mediocre and since looks are over 60% of the whole presentation, if you fail in that department, it’s a lost cause.

There is another game called Stormbinders that will release in the near future, which has an art style that is more close to HoMM2,3,4 and I have higher hopes for it, but I will try both and decide after. In the end, whatever happens, I will continue to play HoMM3 forever.

Well like I said those 2 imo they rly don’t fit with the rest. Besides in homm 5 there is better system with buing creatures. Here I have to buy basics and they decide t owhat upg? I don’t get it. but will see later.
