Every hero starts with a base scouting radius of 5 tiles. With Expert Scouting, a Spyglass, and the Speculum equipped, this can be extended up to 10 tiles

Despite their description saying they always have +1 Luck, Halflings can’t trigger a Luck strike unless they are commanded by a hero.

Neutral creatures in battles without a hero can still be affected by Morale — both positively and negatively — but they can never trigger a Luck strike, even if their Luck is positive. The Misfortune spell also has no effect on them.

The Land Mine spell can’t be cast if the enemy has at least one creature fighting on its native terrain — unless that creature is immune to the spell’s effects. Also, the AI is never able to cast Land Mine.

Inteus specializes in the Bloodlust spell, allowing him to cast it with increased effect. Unfortunately, Conflux level 4, 6, and 7 units are immune to Fire Magic, and the upgraded level 2 and 3 units are ranged. This means only Sprites and Magma Elementals can truly benefit from his bonus.

Air and Storm Elementals have one of the widest damage ranges in the game — from 2 to 8 damage per hit. This makes them excellent targets for the Bless spell, but highly vulnerable to the Curse spell.

The Energy Elemental is the only elemental unit in the game with the ability to fly.

The Counterstrike spell continues to work until the end of the current round, even if it’s dispelled earlier.

If a hero carrying the Grail retreats, surrenders, or is defeated in battle, the Grail is lost forever. However, if the hero is dismissed, there’s a chance to find them later in a tavern — still carrying the Grail in their backpack.

The Market of Time appears in the Titan’s Winter scenario but has no active function. It was originally intended to be a special merchant where heroes could buy high-value artifacts and cheap resources.
