Were you as naïve as I was back in 2015 and bought the HoMM 3 HD Edition on STEAM? Or did you perhaps purchase Ubisoft’s HD Edition more recently?
Well, then you were probably disappointed to find out that this version doesn’t include the maps from the expansions Shadow of Death and Armageddon’s Blade, nor does it have the random map generator.
Fortunately, a modder known as potmdehex helped make up for this by converting all the missing maps using his own tools and making all 113 maps available for download. In addition, there are also 1,000 randomly generated maps that you can download as well.
