Golden Goose Egg grants random wondrous rewards after a random number of upgrades. You can receive resources, gold, experience, as well as units, spells, or even boosts to your primary skills — and with great luck, perhaps even the Grail itself.

This is a new and intriguing artifact that works entirely on the principle of luck and chance. It can be upgraded indefinitely for a cost of 50 units of Alchemical Dust per upgrade.
According to the game files, the Grail is listed among possible rewards. However, after upgrading the Golden Goose Egg over 1,000 times in one of my playthroughs, I still haven’t seen it drop — so for now, that claim remains unconfirmed.
