1. What is the WoG Folder?

The WoG Folder is online source of Heroes of Might and Magic mods I’ve discovered over the past decade. It’s regularly updated, and all mods are neatly organized (or at least I like to think so).

In addition to mods, the folder also contains various goodies from the world of Heroes of Might and Magic — like the “Did you know?“ series, artworks, manuals, meme collections, and more.

2. How can I access the WoG Folder?

The WoG Folder is available to anyone who contributes to the Heroes 3.5 WoG Portal in some way. You can gain access by writing a review, creating a video, making a guide — anything that helps!

Of course, you can also support the project financially and gain access that way (for some reason, this is the most popular option 😄). If you donate more than €10/$10, you’ll also receive a nice thematic Heroes III post card or badge.

Everyone who contributes becomes part of Hall of Immortal Heroes.

Level 1: Crusader – Free

3. Where is the folder hosted and do I need a mega.nz account?

The folder is hosted on mega.nz, a platform that offers excellent file-sharing capabilities. You don’t need a mega.nz account to download the mods — I always send a direct link to the folder, which works from anywhere.

However, if you do have an account, you can easily import favorite mods to your own cloud with one click and build your personal collection. A basic mega.nz account is free and more than enough.

4. Should I download the entire WoG folder?

Many people ask this, but it’s not recommended. Since the mods are frequently updated to the latest versions, downloading the entire folder would quickly make your mods outdated.

5. How long will I have access to the folder?

Access is permanent. I’ll never revoke it — it’s my way of saying thank you for supporting the Heroes 3.5 WoG Portal. 🙂 If you have any more questions, feel free to ask in the comments!

NOTE: All mods are available for download, even without WoG Folder. Even before you ask in the comments, the folder does not contain and never will contain full version of Heroes 3 Complete (or any of the Heroes games) for download. You have to purchase the game via GOG.COM.
