The Wake of Gods settings offer a vast array of options to spice up and customize your game. One of these is the Town Demolition feature, which allows you to destroy an entire town and rebuild it from scratch. However, it’s not as easy as it sounds. To demolish the town, you’ll need a stronger hero with an army. You must destroy the buildings one by one (right-click on the specific building), and you will need to pay for the demolition. If you are destroying barracks that house unrecruited units, you will have to fight them.
The final building before the town’s destruction is the Town Hall. After it’s destroyed, a Blacksmith will appear in the town, but it will be inhabited by ghosts. For 6 days, no one can enter the town. After the 6 days, you can enter the town by clicking on the Blacksmith building. First, you must “redeem” all the ghosts inside. Once they are freed, you can right-click the Blacksmith to create a new town.
For example, if you destroyed a Dungeon town, and enter the town with a Dungeon hero, you can only build a new Dungeon town. If you enter with a Castle hero, you can build either a Dungeon or a Castle. The hero Jeddide has a special Builder ability, allowing him to build any type of town. Now towns can be destroyed and rebuilt again from their ashes. To destroy a building in a town, it is necessary to right-click on the building you wish to destroy. You must have a visiting hero present at a town in order to destroy buildings there; a garrisoned hero cannot destroy anything.
Buildings cannot be destroyed in just any order, but must follow priorities and dependence. If all conditions for destruction of the given building in the given town are met, the building can be destroyed and a window will appear asking if you wish to destroy it.
