The upcoming (currently in Early Access) turn-based strategy game Silence of the Siren has officially changed its name to Heroes of Science and Fiction. While the new title might sound unusual at first, it brings the game closer to its spiritual inspiration — Heroes of Might and Magic.
By adopting the word Heroes right in its name, the developers hope to reach fans of classic fantasy strategy games more directly. Heroes of Science and Fiction blends traditional hex-based combat with a unique mix of sci-fi and fantasy themes, promising an experience familiar yet fresh for long-time Heroes fans.

Here are the main reasons:
- It was really easy to mix up the name with other games in the genre (for example Songs of Silence), and studio saw too many cases of for Youtubers struggling to remember the name.
- The new name should make it much more obvious to HoMM fans that this game is in the same genre as the beloved classic, which is really important when players see it on any list on Steam and decide whether to have a closer look.
