Legend of the Red Dragon v0.71 is here in its English version! It didn’t take long, considering that the Russian version was released just about two weeks ago.
The LoRD mod comes with a lot of improvements, featuring eight new units, including the mighty Great Red Dragon, which appears to be the strongest unit in the entire game. In a unique twist, the mod also introduces four new spells and ten new artifacts—the most intriguing one being the Philosopher’s Stone, which allows an Alchemist hero to turn lead into gold.
Additionally, LoRD brings 39 unique new map objects, adding even more depth to the game world. The user interface has also been improved with new buttons on the game screen, allowing players to quickly enable or disable features like auto-combat for a more comfortable experience.
Of course, there are many more enhancements, but the best way to discover them is by playing! Just take a look at the screenshots in the gallery, and installing this mod becomes a must.

Hello, I can’t play quick battles in this mod, any ideas? I’ve ticked the option in the menu but still all battles play normally?
Has anyone lifted the mons from this game (other than the “seraph”) in the northerners 1.0 town and put it in another town? i.e. red dragon, bone golem etc.?) now that this mod has lost all support would like to see those units in VCMI

zdravim Liso, dlouho se tu nebyl ale koukam, ze pro LORD nemas posledni patch 0,8 zmineny. Jak to ? mej se fido
Nazdar Fido, kde, ako, kedy???? Ja som v tom že vývoj LORD je ukončený, pretože už ani autorova stránka neexistuje. Máš nejakú stránku kde by som našiel verziu 0.8, budem ti veľmi vďačný.
ted zjistuji, ze sem nejak neodpovidal dost dlouho na nejake moje komentare:(. Vim, ze existuje ted uz nova ruska verze 1,0 ale k te 0.8 eng ale ted koukam, ze existuje in 0.84 eng. 🙂

Hi Damian, the big skeleton is neutral unit. On the adventure map, you have to find object no. 14 from this pic: https://heroes3wog.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/new-objects.jpg Only there you can recruit skeleton.

and i ran h3wmaped and i get runtime error 216 (i installed LoRD over Heroes 3 complete without wog)

you need to install the Legend of the Red Dragon on a clean Heroes 3 Complete. version. Legend of the Red Dragon no longer supported by the authors.
Mod Installation
1. Install a clean Heroes of Might and Magic 3 – The Shadow of Death. Please note that some packs may already include a variety of patches that should be avoided. If you are installing from a disk image, then on Windows 7 you need to go to disk, set the compatibility with any of the old system to the file and run setup.exe to install it, not autorun. When you install will also swear that the version of DirectX is wrong, but continue on the setting.
2. If you are going to use HD mode, it is best to install it, otherwise after installing HD mod over H3LORD need to install a graphical patch. Archive with the patch after installing H3LORD appear in the folder where you installed the game (HDpatch.rar). To use the patch, simply extract the files from the archive to the right place (Heroes 3\ _HD3_Data\Common).
3. Set H3LORD in a folder with heroes 3.
4. Run H3LORD.exe. For fast and smooth animation, you can run the game through h3lordglide.exe, but this exe can not run with the HD mod.

But will they have some conflict? Like crashes? Or something not working from either modification? Since i dont have any other version of h3 than the one where i have instaled the wake of gods
The LoRD modification is not compatible with the ERA II/WoG. Yes, the game will crash. You have to do a clean install of Heroes 3 and then install Legend of the Red Dragon.
🙁 nevermind then, are there any mods that are compatible with wake of gods and era heroes to make the game better? like new monsters, towns, objects? or some good mods to make even the wake of gods nicer? i mean when i play with AI i usually lose, some units can get damn powerfull if they get enough experience in AI hands (but not mines 😀 )

To start, it is not necessary to have installed ERAII or WoG. Modification has its own settings. Many new units, heroes and other changes.
h3lord.exe means it cant be combined with the wake of gods, right? i mean the wogify settings like the level 8 creatures, stack exp, rebalanced troops, neutral conflux, revisitable teching object etc. etc.
