In the following days I will receive the long-awaited HoMM III: The Board Game but let’s not forget that even before the official game there has been Mage Knight for many years, which is inspired by the Heroes series.

After 10 long years, Mage Knight will get a new expansion: The Apocalypse Dragon. You’ll meet a new playable hero: Coral, who wants revenge on the Apocalypse Cult. You’ll also find new enemies to fight, including the four horsemen and the fearsome Apocalypse Dragon. You’ll explore new tiles with new locations and challenges. Mage Knight and all its expansions have very high ratings on the BGG platform. I assume that the board version of Heroes III will be compared with Mage Knight.
