The Heroes of Might and Magic VII mods page features both a major overhaul and quality-of-life enhancements. One highlight is Heroes 7.5 Ultimate Edition, which adds several new factions, unique creatures, new mechanics, and visuals.
There’s also a Unofficial Community Patch (UCP) for bug fixes and balance improvements, plus mods like Scaled Creatures and Alternative Creatures that adjust unit sizes and expand faction creature rosters.
- Heroes 7.5 Ultimate Edition – Ultimate Edition is a comprehensive fan-made overhaul that significantly expands and improves the original Heroes VII experience. This ambitious mod adds five brand-new playable factions—Inferno, Tower, Sanctuary, Conflux, Xel and Temple. Each faction comes with its own identity and two exclusive creatures (one Elite and one Champion), which are recruited through unique sacrificial buildings.
- Unoffical Community Patch – UCP is a community modification for Might & Magic: Heroes VII and its expansion Trial by Fire. Since the game development ended in 2016, no more official updates can be expected and it’s just up to this game’s loyal fans to fix the remaining bugs and make Heroes VII great again. And so the largest bugfixing patch for this game was born…
- Scaled Creatures – mod changes scales of some creatures in both battle arena and adventure map in order to provide more immersive gameplay. This mod doesn’t affect any gameplay features.
- Alternative Creatures – is an unofficial and global (map independent) gameplay mod for Heroes VII. Its goal is to align each faction with alternative creatures, which until now were neutral, and allow them to be recruitable in towns.
- The Shadows Over Ashan – TSoA is a so-called “global modification”, meaning that it works like any official DLC. It will add new things to the original game, specifically a new nation/town and units which you can play in both single player skirmish maps and multiplayer maps on one PC (hot seat).
