Eight titles featuring the gameplay you know and love from Heroes of Might and Magic III. Eight chapters that tell the story of Tarnum, a barbarian hero and liberator of his kinsmen. After generations of oppression, Tarnum discovers his people’s true history and leads an army of Stronghold troops against their tyrannical masters.
Marching from the arid roughlands of his homeland and the muggy swamps of the lowlands, he follows and even surpasses the deeds of his legendary ancestor, who defeated the spellcasting oppressors long ago.
I followed the instructions step by step, nevertheles, when I try to install the HD mod : “The project cannot be installed in this folder. Select the appropriate folder with yout HoMM3 Complete installation.”
(I selected the right directory and both HoMM3 complete and Chronicles run without any issue. I also tried to launch the installer with admin rights)
I have both HoMM 3 Complete and all the chronicles installed, yet when i try to install the mod, it tells me ‘the installer has verified the games correctly, but they do not contain the appropriate chronicles’. Help would be appreciated

First Window;
First the installer will attempt to verify the installations for Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete and Heroes Chronicles. Confirm your selection below for the type of verification. One type is the “all chapters” installation of Heroes Chronicles, while the other is individual chapter installations..
Select “yes” if you have the individual chapters of Heroes Chronicles installed, as in they are each in their own folder. Select “no” if you have the all chapters version installed.
(Note. The appearance of the verification has been changed to support Windows XP)
Next window:
Verification of having the appropriate Heroes Chronicles installed. Select the type of check depending on which Heroes Chronicles you have installed. “Yes” for the GoG version, “No” for the NWC version.

Next window:
(The installer has correctly verified the installation of the appropriate Heroes Chronicles)
Ok to continue..
Next to continue.. Accept the agreement.. Select your Heroes 3 Complete directory and next..
Select English or Polish version and next..
Project Chronicles installs.
Next the HD mod is installed if you don’t have it already. Select your H3 Complete folder if it’s not selected already and next.
Next is start menu folder, and finally install.
Finish and launch (or not launch).

I have the exact same problem as the author of this post.
I get this message after selecting “yes” twice (Individual chapters + GoG version).
I can do nothing about it (tried other answers as well, same outcome).
Can you help me please? What’s wrong?
I also have the exact same issue as the author of this post and I suspect that the reason is that I have changed the default GoG install folder. Any ideea how to fix this ?

Hi! I have a problem during the installation. I installed all Chronicles chapters and Heroes 3 complete using GOG galaxy. The installer says the Chapters are installed correctly, but then when I have to choose the path to H3 complete, it displays this: “The Project cannot be installed in this folder. Select the appropriate folder with your Heroes III complete installation. HD mod is also required for this project and it will be installed after the Project Chronicles installation”. I reinstalled H3 and tested both english and polish versions. I also tested english and polish installers of the Chronicles mod, but it doesnt help. Does the installation order matter (first H3 complete and then Chronicles)? Or maybe the Chronicles should be installed inside the H3 folder? I would be grateful for any help :).
Ok, I figured it out. It was a silly mistake on my part. I didn’t notice that it doesn’t autodetect the correct path to Heroes 3 Complete. Instead, it defaults to the Program Files directory, which I overlooked. I set the correct path, and now it works.
BUT when I installed H3 Complete using the offline installer from GOG, the mod couldn’t find the H3blade.exe file, so it didn’t work. But when I installed H3 using GOG Galaxy, the H3blade.exe file was there, and now everything works perfectly!
I bought both heroes complete and all chronicles campaigns via GOG. Still, when I am trying to install it says that I need to have heroes complete edition. It even auto detect correct folder with a game but for some reason I can’t go further with installation. Any help ?

All chronicles episodes installed + Complete edition, but the verification failed what i do wrong?
I’ve tried installing this several times, but it always fails with telling me the records for The World Tree and Fiery Moon were not found, althought I have all 7 (GOG version) chapters installed as folders in my main HoMM3 folder and it finds chapter 1-4 and 7. But not those two. I’ve tried clean installs, clearing the registry, everything, but I still get the same error. Help would very much be appreciated 🙂

i have some questions, when i play the Glory of War some of the unit image are missing and also it’s a bit laggy eventhough other chronicles works just fine. any help?
