Classic HoMM II map with fairytale chess!! Go Ask Alice… created originally by Phil McCrum was one of the 25 ‘best of the net’ maps which made it into HoMM II Gold.
The map takes place in a wonderland world where the human player controls the red chess pieces, including a king. The goal is to defeat the white king from the other side of the ‘chess board‘ without losing your own! Other pieces include a queen, knight, bishop and of course peasants. A lot of funny events can be found throughout this interesting map making featuring characters from the classic ‘Alice in Wonderland‘ fairytale with a nice twist.

On 121 a white knight came through the portal with 30 phoenixes and said “good night” to my dragons…
